Dr. Christina Robins, the founder of RevitaLife, attended the University of Missouri Kansas City Medical School and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has done extensive training from the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. Robins became interested in functional and integrative medicine over ten years ago when she became frustrated that the current medical system many times doesn't address the root cause of disease. Five years ago, she opened up RevitaLife with a vision to provide a medical office which integrates traditional medicine with functional and metabolic medicine to help patients reach higher levels of wellness and vitality. Dr. Robins specializes in: bio-identical hormone therapy, family medicine, nutritional therapies, PRP and stem cell therapies, medical weight loss, PCOS treatment, cosmetic treatments and detoxification therapies.
She is married with two daughters and one son. She knows how important, yet challenging it can be to place your families' health first when leading such a busy lifestyle.
Carey joined RevitaLife Wellness Center in 2013. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing where she also enjoyed playing Collegiate Soccer. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Nursing at the Maryville University here in St. Louis, Missouri.
She worked for several years in a holistic medical family practice and a medical spa providing aesthetic/cosmetic care. She has experience in managing chronic illness and promoting preventive wellness through the life span, including women’s health, pediatric health, obesity, and cosmetic consultation.
Carey is committed to holistic mind-body health and blends her experience in conventional medicine to find a unique approach for each patient that promotes optimal wellness. She believes in exploring the underlying root cause of all diseases and works to blend the use of prescription medication and natural therapies to best treat each individual. Carey specializes in bio-identical hormone therapy, functional medicine, family medicine, and cosmetic treatments.
When not providing care to patients, you will find her enjoying time with her husband, two sons, and friends. Carey enjoys being active, reading, and traveling.
Karen started her career in health care as a Registered Nurse, working in high risk labor and delivery. Teaching and education have always played a major role in her work with patients and their families. After completing her Bachelor Degree in Nursing, she went on to obtain her Master's Degree in Nursing Education. For three years she served on the faculty staff of Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. During that time, she furthered her own education by completing a post graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center- ANCC.
Karen has worked in several areas, including convenient and urgent care, as well as family practice/primary care. She possesses experience in managing acute and chronic illness, promoting health and wellness for men and women, incorporating contemporary and alternative means of therapy. She believes knowledge is key to optimizing overall vitality.
For her own relaxation, Karen enjoys watching/attending various sporting events, in particular baseball and football.
Jennifer graduate from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. In 2007, while enrolled in esthetics school, her passion for skin health began. Almost a decade later, she has developed her skills in medical settings specializing in numerous lasers for face and body, including IPL, pixel erbium, radio frequency, hair removal, medical grade chemical peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and Hydrafacial MD.
Jennifer is passionate about tailoring specific skin care regimen combined with in-office treatments for patients to achieve optimal results: producing youthful, healthy and vibrant skin by partnering with patients to fulfill their needs and requests for their specific skin care goals.
Janet Wagner started with RevitaLife in October 2015, and is a Registered Medical Assistant and the office manager. She has been in the medical office field for 18 years and been a medical office manager for 5 of those years. She has a wide background in primary care, orthopedic, and hormone replacement office specialties.
Jess joined our RevitaLife team in May. She has been active with sports and running her whole life. As she studied exercise and nutrition to earn her Bachelors in Exercise Science, she realized she has a true passion for helping people become the healthiest they can be. After earning her degree, she became a Certified Health & Fitness Specialist and Personal Trainer for the next 6 years. She then pursued becoming a wellness coach where she can now focus on a holistic approach to engage physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. Jess works one-on-one with Dr. Robins in functional medicine. She is passionate about helping people reach their goals by getting down to the underlying cause of the problem and finding the best ways to achieve these goals. She believes that it may not be easy, but it will be worth it to give your mind & body the healthy attention it deserves.
